Best way to store weed

Cannabis flowers can have a shelf life of up to a year depending on when it was cured and with good storage. The best storage apparatus to store weed is in  a glass container, avoid using metal or plastic for long term storage. Glass is highly recommended as its air tight and nonporous, mason jars are well tested and popular within our community.

KEEP IT COOL. High temperatures can cause your cannabis to dry out thus evaporating the terpenes. But also avoid freezing temperatures, colder temperatures can burst the delicate trichomes and cause it to lose potency. Some places in a home we recommend are: closet, drawers, or a dark corner.

KEEP IT DARK. Similar to how UV light can affect colours, it can break down the cannabinoids and terpenes of the buds. Containers should be stored in a dark place and NEVER in the direct sun.

KEEP IT AWAY FROM MOISTURE. This is to avoid moldy buds. The key is to maintain proper humidity levels. Humidity packs can aid in this, check out our selection here.  Avoid placing your flower in the refrigerator, the fluctuations in temperature and humidity will increase your chances of growing mold.

KEEP IT CLEAN. Before placing your flowers in the container, make sure its clean from dirt and grime!
