King Louis XIII might be most famous for making wigs on men de rigeur for the French aristocracy, but in Southern California the name will bring to mind a popular indica-dominant strain. This strain announces itself as many people did in the 1600s: by its smell. The difference is this monarch’s odor is one that’s meant to be enjoyed; its dense nugs have an overwhelmingly piney smell with an earthy musk that will have you thinking of your last forest adventure. Bred in part from OG Kush, King Louis has a very similar spicy kush aroma.

buds that were very fresh. Definitely good before bed. Hits ya hard in the chest with the terms.

Very dense/tight darker green buds with a fair amount of trichomes, good level of humidity, nicely trimmed & cured, sticky inside..this King Louis look great!
The smell is very nice, I would describe it as a dominating piney/funky aroma mixed with sweet/floral/earthyness notes. The taste however is a little different, you can still taste the piney funkyness but with some rich kushy/gassyness flavors added to it, stuff is super tasty 🤤 Def my type of terps.
Now this is where this King Louis shine to me, I mean the taste is already awesome but the way it burn make it even better, you can expect a thick white silky smooth easy on the throat type of smoke, very enjoyable! Spliff burn even to a nice clean ash, producing a thick oil ring around the cherry. Potency is also pretty good, nice balanced high that will put you in the right place without getting too tired while still packing a punch 🤜.
